The product
Each order includes one piece of real coal packaged as a novelty gift and an optional personalized message. Pieces naturally vary in size, shape, and texture. It is not food, a toy, or intended for burning.
Price and payment
The listed price is $14.99 for a single order, with standard shipping included to eligible destinations in the contiguous United States. Applicable sales taxes may be charged at checkout. Payments are securely processed by Square. We do not provide subscriptions or recurring orders.
Where we ship
At launch, we intend to ship to valid street addresses in the contiguous 48 United States. We cannot accept orders for Alaska, Hawaii, U.S. territories, international addresses, or destinations unsupported by our checkout or shipping carriers. Please provide a complete and accurate recipient address.
Processing and delivery
Processing and delivery estimates, if provided when you order, are estimates and not guaranteed delivery dates. Orders are subject to product availability and carrier acceptance. If we cannot ship within the promised timeframe, we will provide the notices and refund or cancellation options required by applicable law.
Cancellations, returns, and refunds
Contact hello@shipcoal.net as soon as possible to request cancellation. If the order has already been packed or shipped, cancellation may not be possible. Please contact us about incorrect, damaged, undelivered, or duplicate orders so we can investigate and provide the remedy required by applicable law. We do not guarantee a refund for packages refused by recipients or sent to an incorrect address supplied at checkout, subject to applicable law.
Message and anti-harassment rules
ShipCoal is for harmless novelty gifts, not threats or intimidation. You agree not to use it for stalking, repeated unwanted contact, discriminatory abuse, obscene threats, false impersonation, or any unlawful activity. We may review messages, refuse orders, cancel orders, and stop shipments that reasonably appear to violate these rules. Where payment was collected for an order we decline to fulfill, we will issue an appropriate refund.
Sender name and package return address
You may choose to omit your name from the gift note. The parcel still carries ShipCoal's business return address, and we keep records of the person who purchased the order. We cannot promise anonymity from payment processors, postal providers, or legally valid requests for information.
